burnout

I started winterizing, but wasn't aware hose was kinked somewhere, so overheated really quickly. Impeller is in pieces. So now I need to backflush system to remove these- before I can replace impeller and start all over again. Can I do this (flush) by inserting a garden hose to the port side...
