Need to remove the forward Marine Air unit on a 1990 390. Anyone have experience on how to remove and/or gain access.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the A/C water strainer. I have looked and looked at mine. Seems the only possible way is to remove the 4 screws "underneath"; 2 of which are pressed up against the gas tank. There must be ab easier way.
