I’m wondering if anyone has ever replaced the engine in their 1997 420 Searay AC. I bought the boat last year and the engine (3116) blew in September from I believe captain error. We can’t figure out how to get it back in, if the floor needs to come out or the engine should go in in separate...

Hello I just purchased a 2004 420 and want to put on a dingy that is easy to use and my wife or young boys can easily launch or store the dingy...prefer one that isnt too big and ugly when not in use :) Dont want to pay the big $$$ for a hydraulic platform. Thanks for your help!

Can anyone tell me the last year of the 420 aft cabin ? Also it seems the 1999 - 2000 have Cummins diesels, which is what I would prefer over the 3126 Cats. I know this probably stirs up the Ford / Chevy type of controversy but I have had good luck with Cummins. I would welcome any encouraging...
