The fact that the transom switch works up and down mean the senders on the lower unit are working but the wiring from pump to shifter or the switch on the shifter are bad.

The trim on throttle works on down trim but no up trim. Trailer trim works and have remote trim switch on transom that works up and down. Where do I start looking thanks for any help. Trim gauge doesn’t work correctly either.

I had the same boat and I redid the cushions with sunbrella and it was simple. The cushions were plywood and foam covered with sunbrella. They were 2 separate boxes that held them up. I think you could build them yourself if you have basic power tools and a staple gun.

I have a 97 5.7 fuel injected with cool fuel, can i fog thru the throttle body. Thanks for any info.

Make sure all of the old gasket is off the base. I didn't realize when I changed mine that the old gasket was still on the base an it leaked.

I have the same motor but a 97 and I have a sound that is strange to me. It is the same sound I hear on the video except no squealing,I have had many carbed 5.7's and never made that sound. This is my first fuel injected 5.7 and not sure if it's normal or not. It starts and runs great.

there is a small latch on the slide that you have to pull out. make sure it locks back in place when you fold back up. the latch will be on the side of the seat towards the middle of the boat. if you look at the rail or slide under the cushions you will see the latch

If your a handy guy I would fix it myself. Either drill some holes in the top deck, let it dry out and use something like Git-Rot fill holes or make a shallow cut in deck,save the piece you cut remove and replace rot. reuse deck piece. Going from below is real messy but doable. replacing...

I used a t off the seacock for my head for my a/c that i installed never had any problems even when using both at the same time. Also never had a problem with using freshwater for my head. I have seen some boats that use freshwater tank for there head and they are constantly refilling it. Pia imo.
