The throttle Position Sensor was replaced and, according to the marina, is performing perfectly. I am going to take out the boat tomorrow, can't wait. I wanted to let everyone know that Mercury replaced the parts for free, even though the engine has been out of warranty for 2 months.

I dont recall exactly but I went over it with the Mechanic at Marine Max while the problem was occuring. He said the temp was fine as was the oil pressure.

Marine Max gave recommended someone to do the survey but it is my cost. The boat does not have any warrant left on the engine but MM said I can extend the warranty for 3 years for $2500. I put in an offer pending the survey.

The boat is in South Florida. It is being sold by its original owner thru Marine Max. They say the seller didn't have time for it. The boat was purchased in July of 2007.
