    omc conversion

With the price and availibilty of omc parts compared to mercruiser i was hoping to save some money for any future repairs. From what i have been able to find on the internet, the conversion kit would run about 300 or so. There is a reducer plate for the hole in the transom and some various...

    mercruiser v cobra

Have a question for the more knowledgeable guys here. What are some of the good and bad point between a mercruiser and cobra drive? I know a guy that says to stay from cobra because they are to expensive to fix. Do they break that often or the parts that hard to find?

    Antique Boat

LOL. That is so funny shamutoo, I just picked up a 72 240srv that has the retro look going. The first time I saw the cuddy, two things came to mind. The shag carpet on the ceiling would be great with a couple of small spots at the rear of the cabin shining forward onto the disco ball. And the...

    hydrofoil

I have a 19 pitch prop on a 351 windsor. With 2 adults and 2 kids I was getting 4400 rpm and eventually a top speed of about 30 kts at full throttle. Out on the road for work right now so i didn't get a chance to measure the trim tabs but they looked like they were 8-10" wide and maybe 6" deep ...
