I have the factory bimini and would defiantly not put any tube on top or strap it down as the aluminum poles and cover is way too expensive to risk the weight or air deflection of a tube strapped to it. At least the speeds that i cruse down a lake (2.8-3.2K rpm, trimmed out).

I put JL Audio speakers as a direct replacement on my 185. The speakers are not amped but yet strait off the deck. Sound is much more crisp and actually has some base for what a 6.5 in speaker can give out. <snickertime>
