    Lowrance 332c

I have a Lowrance 332c combination chart plotter/sonar unit, with a shoot thru the hull transducer. Last week, when I turned the unit on, it responded with an error message, "GPS module not responding." Does anyone have any idea what that means, and how to fix it?

2 boats capsized in last 2 days off NJ waters

Gary, Let's suppose one leaves one's four kids, two stupid dogs and one angry wife on shore, and gets into an 18' unsinkable Boston Whaler, with twin outboards, while wearing an appropriate exposure suit (with a personal flotation device); one puts the fishing pole(s) into the rod holder(s)...

You have the basic steps right, although I do it just a bit differently. Running it on the muffs, I bring it up to operating temperature, then, shut her down, attach the jug with the anti-freeze, with someone checking the exhaust, I wait until it shows pink, and then start fogging until it...

    2004 260 "never in water?"

The boat is in Ohio. The proximity to the water will not effect the zincs, etc., unless it has actually been in the water.

    "New" 96 Sundancer 270DA - Suggestions Needed

Your "new" '96 boat can be quite "new," depending upon use and maintenance. Your survey should answer that. My '96 was, in fact, basically new when I got her 3 years ago. With a modicum of modesty (and my maintenance logs), I would suggest she would still show as "new."

    Is it the Fuel Pump??

If I understand your trouble shooting process ( read through it quickly, so I appologize if I misunderstodd), you had fuel flowing freely to the pump, and nothing flowing from it. That would seem to indicate a bad fuel pump. I don't believe there is anything to siphon back from the carb, so I...

    Towing a Sundancer 240

I'm towing my 240 DA with a 2005 Dodge Dakota with the heavy towing package, brakes on the trailer, etc.. No problems over the last couple of years and couple of thousand miles. Remember that fuel and water weigh about 8 pounds per gallon. I always try to leave empty and fill up near the...
