There is a knob on mine that allows the seat so rotate (or not), loosen that one and it lifts off. They are heavy and awkward but lift straight up. The base just sits on top of the post.
One of my winter projects is to replace the sewage lines on the boat. I believe Bugaboo did this in his videos but curious if anyone knows the current best lines to use and the length needed.
I have had Spurs on my 400DB since i bought it. Until this weekend I have been thrilled with them, never knew they were there except for a handful of occasions and they did their job well. This weekend, we were idling into a marina and heard a rapid thump, kind of like a baseball bat to the...
Hi guys, I need to replace the OceanAir screen/shade for the hatch in the Master stateroom. Anyone know the part number? The "Passed Inspection" sticker is there with a spot for date and model number but it is blank.
Also, Thinking about removing the cabinet and TV in the salon. Can you post...
Steve, I am considering doing a similar arrangement with my enclosure this year. Do you like it attached to the arch? Would you do it again> Different? Do you have any other pics of the setup i might be able to show my canvas guy? Thanks, Todd
It is time to look at canvas for our girl. I am toying with the idea of having the enclosure come from the bimini to the arch and leaving it open at the back. To those that have done this, how bad is the airflow into the bridge with the three sides down. Also, is the "station wagon" effect an...
We had friends that came out with us quite a bit a few summers ago. He was really getting into it and began shopping for his own. Some time went by and I asked how his search was going. With a straight face he replied "why would I get a boat when I can come out with you?" That was the last...
John, Welcome. Congratulations on getting ready for an amazing adventure. My first advice, if possible, take more time. Those are long days. When I do it again, we rushed the first time, I will run only 6-8 per day. Start early, get in and enjoy where you stop a bit. If you can run outside you...
Capt. Rusty is a gentleman that is both selfless and determined when it comes to championing the Sea Ray brand and to support us in the enjoyment of our boats. He is certainly a tremendous asset to the brand and to us. On my recent journey we talked several times. I am fortunate and proud to...
Hi guys. I have a leak that manifests itself when we are running. It appears to be coming from the STBD side. Nothing comes in when we are still or running at idle. When I am on plane it is leaking significantly. I can see it running along the inside STBD quarter when I am in the engine room. It...
My ProNautic 12-40P lasted 2 months and made for some fun on my way to FL last month. Trying to figure out whether to troubleshoot or dispose of it. Spoke with Customer Service and well as the guys that installed it. I got an email with the "in-depth" trouble shooting guide but all I got was...
Odyssey, would you send me your guide? We are hoping to get to the Bahamas in late March. Brought the boat to Jupiter a few weeks ago. Excited and hoping weather cooperates. Thanks, Todd trebbel@hotmail.com
Hi guys, can anyone recommend a mobile mechanic in the Jupiter, FL area? My Port alternator is not charging the batteries and my 2 month old ProNautic4(?) battery charger is not working properly. Thank you.
