    Bigger Tabs/drop fins/custom on 44 Sedan Bridge

My 44 Sedan Bridge is a bit stern heavy and have been reading posts where others have dealt with this issue with larger trim tabs or drop fin addons. I have the GHS hydraulic lift on the boat which adds about 600lbs when it's empty and at a 25mph cruise I still have close to full tab to achieve...

QSC500 no temp/pressure form port transmission in Smartcraft

I´m finalizing a deal on a 2007 Sea Ray 44 Sedan Bridge with twin QSC500s and ZF280 transmissions. During the seatrial I noticed that smartcraft shows 0 pressure and -40 temp on the port transmission. Starboard was fine. I could see where there were a few sensors on the transmission cooler on...

    Install shunt for battery monitoring

    44 Sedan running slow

I'm looking at a 44 Sedan with QSC500s. The WOT rpms get up to about 2650 but the speed is only a little over 31mph (26.9kn). At around 2100rpm it's only doing around a little over 21.5mph (18.6kn). I think from all the review info I've looked at plus having driven a friends 44 Sedan recently...

    2007 48 Sundancer ISO transformer

As far as I know all of these models have either a 50A/240VAC ISO Transformer or ISO Boost Transformer that is between the 50A/240VAC shorepower inlet and the main panel. From the wiring diagram I just reviewed that would make it impossible to operate any of the 120VAC devices on the boat by...

12VDC setup on 44 Sedan Bridge

Batteries on the 44 Sedan Bridge are setup with 2 batteries in parallel for each engine, 4 in total and 2 for the bow thruster. The boat has no dedicated battery for the generator or a separate house bank. From a diagram in the manual it appears the cabin 12VDC devices may be powered primarily...

changing duckbill valves on 44 Sedan

Both vacuflush units are tucked well out of reach on the 44 sedan bridge in the engine room. For anyone who has changed them what was the best way to get into this very tight corner behind the all the exhaust plumbing to remove/replace the duckbill valves?
