I run mine while underway.

I put seadeck under mine and just leave them on the whole year. It is important to get the cushions off of the gel coat so the moisture doesn't sit there. I clean regularly when I do the rest of the boat and then once or twice a year I do a heavier vinyl cleaning.

Were you able to find a cockpit fridge that is fridge only? I've been trying to find either a fridge only or freezer only(preferred) to replace the existing old ice maker. What brand did you go with?

We put one on our 260. They are great for keep the gel coat from getting scratched up. I wouldn't assume there is a problem, they probably just put it on as a precautionary.

Hmm, that is really weird. I just took another one of them off today because I was trying new LED pucks, just a quick turn counterclockwise and it came off. If you are replacing the whole puck you could probably just break the cover off by prying it off.

You turn the gold trim piece counter clockwise. The trim pieces might be a bit stuck on to the vinyl but they will come. The light is a two piece component, 1 being the gold cover and the 2nd being the bulb housing/wiring.

I'm in! If they are collared shirts make sure they are a lightweight and/or sport type material or else they will be too hot :)
