Has anyone ever found out where to buy this part. I was tooling around the other day when my chart plotter went blank. Turns out my negative termial snapped. Must be some cheap scews. So if anytone found a supplier that would be great. Or I just I have to workaround as well.
I am having a problem with the starboard engine on my 2004 300 Sundancer. It is finicky when starting and idles rough until it warms up. I get a two beep alarm every few minutes, but nothing else shows on the smart craft gauge model. Some one suggested the O2 sensor, but I can't find any...
Okay I get the point of redundancy. Which I will probably do. I was searching West Marine web site. All they list is the B60-12 which is for a 12 to 15 deadrise. By most of the posts here one may assume that Sea Rays have a 20 degree deadrise. Which I did not see on the web site. But they do...
Again many thanks, So going back to the smartcraft, With the smartcraft do you now have to devices that read depth and temp smartcraft, and multi unit. If thats the case would there be any ill effects to just replacing the smartcraft ducer with a C70 compatible one, and just leaving that...
Okay one more thing to add... First thank for all th input. Next does anyone know if a 2004 300 sundancer is a solid hull or cored? I was hoping this would be easy, but so much for that. Also I saw some suggestions on transducers. Are there ducers other than Airmar that are compatable with the...
There is already a transducer installed, I was reading the installation manual, and they seemed to make a big deal out of unit location to cut out interference. With the radar cable and everything else under the dash, I was a worried under the dash would not be an option.
One more thing...
Looking to install a DSM30 sounder unit for a fishfiner. I have a Raymarine C70 multi display unit. It is going into a 2004 300 Sundancer. Anyone have any experience with this. Namely how difficult is this? Also where is a good place to put the unit.
I was just posting to say we did located the problem. It was the gear indicator switch on the port engine. The switch is fine, but it rests so close to the egde on the "Shift Lever" not sure if that is what it's called, that rough seas knock it of and makes the computer think the engine is in...
Thanks DaleM, I think we have the same engines. That fix seems cheep and easy enough to give a try. I appreciate the help. If I remeber right, the switch just plugs in.
Thanks all for the replies, was hoping to avoid the mechanic, but looks like it might not be possible.
Although what DaleM describes sounds like my exact problem. How hard is that to change?
I have a 2004 300 Sundancer with bravo III engines. It has the smart craft speedometer guages. When at slow speeds all is well. When we throttle up top get on plain an alarm starts. It is two quick beeps every minute. If you stop shut off the engines and stay off plane, it does not sound. All...
