    Mounting Dinghy system

I guess theoretically you can, however with the swivel mount the weight of the motor is transferred to a higher position and will create much less of a spring in the dingy. Just my two cents.... Alan

Know a good place where I can get new canvas for a 97 370DA?

Here is the deal........ You are correct that Boatswain Locker only carries stock tops for 40 feet and above and Great Lakes makes tops 34 feet and below. That leaves those of us with the 370 and 380 Dancers to order locally. So I ordered a front ($950.00) and a rear ($1000.00) bimni from...

    Mounting Weaver Pads

Good Morning Dominic After reading all the info on mounting the yokes, I agree. The most important thing I found was to place the yokes as far apart as possible for stability. In order to acomplish this on the Mercury 270 I had to remove one of the handles. (I belive someone refrenced removing...

    Raw water wash down

Thanks Seagull I was just looking at the parts list for the 2002 380 Dancer to see the parts used. Looks like Sea Tech piping and a shutoff valve as your picture shows. They also show a part number for the bracket. I guess the real question is how I get from under the front bearth to the rope...

    Raw water wash down

Jeff, Sounds like a sweet system. If I tap into the water system I would not need a pump or a sea cock, just a "T" conection and a valve to turn on and off. The other benifit of the fresh water is not having to run a waterline from the stern to the bow. I am on Lake Champlain in Vermont a...

I own a 1998 370 Dancer and am looking to put a raw water wash down in the anchor line locker on the bow to clean the anchor. My question is......has anyone plumbed in this type of setup? Is this something Sea Ray offered in the 380 Dancer? Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Alan

    Dinghy Engines?

Dominique The standoffs are 48" with clips on both ends so when I am on the hook I can remove everything from the platform. Weaver will make them at any length to fit the boat. Alan

    Dinghy Engines?

Good Morning Dominique They are Weaver Davits http://store.weaverindustries.com/merchant.cfm?step=4&pid=36 I ordered them to fit the boat and platform 4" out and 4" down. As you can see they can be ordered in any size. I have added grab handles to my platform so the 4" out cleared the handles...

    Dinghy Engines?

Dave, I have had mine up for a year now with no problems at all. The 2 stroke engine is light enough to pull it off. Being on Lake Champlain in Vermont we dont see rolling seas, I have had this combo out in 4-5 foot waves pounding without any issues and I am confident with the package. I have a...
