With the help of the snake camera I was able to identify the Clarion Amp., It is a Clarion A1004, 50W X 4. I am pretty sure this amp was around during the 8 track era. Any suggestions on what would be a good replacement unit that I could mount elsewhere?? Will attempt to cut the wires going...
Thanks Alnav, I did order the snake camera hopefully I will be able to see the connections on the amp. My clarion M109 has maximum power output of 200w (50W x 4 ch). Don't think it can power 8 speakers. If I go with a new power head, and eliminate the amplifier, how much power do you think I...
Well I think I found the clarion amplifier. Pulled the D.C. power panel off and spotted the blue/white amp turn on wire. Got a mirror and saw a black box with Clairon on it, it is almost covered by an air conditioner duct. Couldn't see any wires going to it just the top of the amp. It is...
Called PWM and they have no idea where the Amp might be. When I pulled the radio out I could see where all the wires were going aft towards the arch. Will try pulling a panel in the rope locker just under the arch. Will let you know.
Went to the sea ray site to download my manual and my 1994 Sea Ray Express Bridge is not listed. I know they only made them for 3 years; 1992, 1993 and 1994. None of them are listed. Guess I will have to start pulling things apart to find my Audio Amp. if there is one.
I have a printed copy of all the parts, very detailed, for the entire boat with diagrams of where everything is located, it is 14 pages but no mention of audio amplifier. Waiting on response from Sea Ray.
Ok, the radio/cd player I have is the Clarion M109. So if I have 8 speakers; 4 inside and 4 outside wouldn't I need an Amplifier to power at least half of them?? Looks like the inside speakers are connected directly to the clarion and the outside speakers are going to an amplifier some where...
Good evening. Was down at the boat today checking things out, I turned on the FM radio and was listening to the local radio station. The 2 radar arch speakers and the two speakers on the bridge started cutting out, and finally just quit altogether. First I thought it might be the station but...
Happy Veterans day to all those who served.
I have a Rule 1500 automatic bilge pump I installed last year. It has worked fine until recently, the pump would cycle on every 2 1/2 minutes and run for 2.5 seconds and shut down as advertised. If it detected water it would stay on until water...
Think I will just replace the pump, looks like just the fuel lines and a couple of bolts, any tricks I should know about? Can this cause oil to get mixed in with the gas going to the carburetor and make the engine run rough?
Just noticed my clear sight tube from the mechanical fuel pump to the carburetor has a small amount of oil in it. Swabbed it out with a pipe cleaner and found it to be like a light 3 in 1 type oil. No smell of gas in tube present. Could my fuel pump diaphragm be ruptured. Thought gas was...
Had a set back. Friday she was running smooth, good idle, 750rpm at idle, no stall or misses, figured the idle adjust and choke hook up did the trick. shut it off and restarted several time with no problems. Saturday went down to take her out for a test run. Had a hell of a time starting...
