Weird on teh differences between the SD and regular 420 cruisers... I got the 420 regular - and it was easy as could be to change the filter - just did it 2 weeks ago!

This year - or last - can't remember...my wipers weren't working. Then I went out - gave them a "nudge" - came back - and fine... They seem to be odd little motors?
Even last year - when gas was high - I never expected it. I enjoy going out on my boat and find the peace I get while out there well worth it. What I like is when I have the friends who bring a bottle of Rum or something like that if we do a long cruise. To me - that is a nicer geasture than...

Looking at the year of your boat - should still be under Cummins Warranty - have them come out.... By me in Milwaukee, they are great... Just call them direct and have them look into it. Plus, if you bought a new filter this year - and there is something wrong with it - the service...
I have had similiar on mine. For some reason - when I hit the breaker in the cabin area - it won't always come on. But I have never had a problem in starting my generator... But, I have tried it where I go right to the main panel in the engine compartment - and no problem - turn it on - and...
Being that we are supposed to get 7 inches here Saturday....I am sure that is going to affect my luanch date a week!!
I need to stop by MKE marina and see if the ice is all out or not? I imagine with the warmth it is...but you never know around here!
Yes, False Creek is a good area - and you are pretty much in downtown - more or less Yale Town - which has tons of good places to go and eat, or a 5 dollar cab will put you in downtown. There are some marian's out by the airport...there is a real nice one at the River Rock Casino - which is...
Escapade -
Just watch out when you go to launch.... I think I took out your drain plug and not sure where I put it :-)
I am looking at April 4th... a bit early - but I like to get in and be done with it - then I am not fighting for a luanch spot, etc come later in April. Can't do much...
That's a interesting question. If it was stolen and insurance claimed - you bought it in Mexico (or elsewhere), what would happen registering it? Could you? Or, if you register it elsewhere, say Bahama's, then come to Florida, if the ex-owner notices it, could you get in trouble? If not - I...
Our marina has been a joke. At first it was going to be almost 15-20% increase. Then they said a 3%. Well final was about 10%. Some other nearby marina's loved it - and offered deals to get people in. Our marina (700 slips) is down about 100 or more.. So, their increase has cost them more...
2 Props / 2 Shafts / 2 Rudders, 3 cracks in hull later......
Yeah - been there - done that :-)
about 1 mile from our marina as well - fun day!
And ran aground on a sand bar - no damage - just a impeller.
That is neat to see that. In our area, only place I know of is Milwaukee Yacht Club that allows boats in the water all winter - I believe there are 2 or 3 boats that usually stay in...2 years ago - went sailing in January on a fluke 60 degree day! It would be nice to keep it in the water...but...
Wow - looking forward to these prices! BOat is in storage for 3-1/2 more months though! The only down side is all our marina's fill up to the top in fall with fuel - so I am sure they aren't going to sell it at a loss! So those first few tanks will be a bit pricey!

I got the Cummin's - and same bitch.
My oil ones weren't bad - but it was the fuel filter ones.
One morning - I broke 2 wrenches trying to take them off (one was my big chain wrench from our shop!) - called Cummin's said to the guy, this is BS, they shouldn't be on that tight.. he was...
Gary - return the book - keep the socks though :-)
No boating stuff this year...but I didn't ask for any - so I am sure that was part of it... Last year I got a nice life raft.. have been wanting one...gave the parents the guilt trip - and so they got that for me...ha ha! It still works...
I wish I could do longer trips - but that work thing gets in the way. I have always wanted to do the North Channel and heard a lot of stuffa bout it - but need 2 good weeks. I enjoy more short every-other-weekend type trips - leave Thursday night or Friday AM - do a 3 day trip - across lake or...
