Thanks again Eric, When I turn the locked prop I hear a quiet almost squeeky noise in the boot area. My mechanic thinks it spun a shaft. I will get back with you when I get the prop off, hopefully this weekend. Glenn

People are crazy, I had some horse saddles stolen a few years back, the door was unlocked, just had the pad lock holding the door closed. They use a crow bar and pulled the entire pad lock off the door! Some times it is better to leave them for easy access rather than have them tear up your boat...

Thanks for the advice and to follow up, in forward or reverse gear (engine off) prop will lock but not solid, I can turn it with a little muscle, smooth no noise etc. Do you still think it is the stripped prop hub? I have to live with the engine, it is difficult to find another that will fit...

High, I am new to this forum and your boat looks very nice. Seems to me you need to squeeze the white portion to let it pop out as you pull and twist. You probably already tried this though. Just my two cents worth. GG
