Has anyone experienced this before? I got the alarm and my mechanic replaced the IAC and the alarm went away for a month and then it started beeping at the dock when I put it in the water and now there is no code set but the alarm goes off even if the engine is off. I searched but couldn't...
good idea, I used a shop-vac before I put mine in storage, it was a tad messy at times. the storage I keep my boat in has a pump out there free of charge. a buddy of mine built the place. I guess another alternative is if you already have a macerator like I do you could put another "Y" valve...
I have an '03 and with it trimmed all the way down I get a slight vibration, nothing show stopping, trim up a little, and it's gone. seems pretty normal. I wouldn't worry about it.
when docking into the wind, i get the bow secured first, then use the motor/outdrive to pull the stern around, if need be....otherwise, it's a pretty easy deal.
go to Searay.com and you can get all that info. For me, the largest one that can come with out drives is the largest I'd get. I do allot of River running so I need outdrives. I know others with big inboards that have tore up their underwater gear.
Beware of speeds quoted via speedo, they are extremely inaccurate, always ask if it is GPS rated.
My choices would be, for 2 seaters would be the SeaDoo RXP or Yamaha FZR, for 3 seaters the Kawasakin Ultra 250 or Yamaha FX SHO. I've owned a SeaDoo GTXR and a Kawasaki Ultra 150, both were two...
I know someone who trailers a 300DA, and in fact, wehn I'm ready to upgrade that's what I'm going with and it will be on a trailer. you are supposed to have permits for anything over 8.5' beam, but many have trailered without one. I have a 1 mile each way commute from storage to launch, so I'm...
personally, I'd look for one with a generator, that one doesn't have it, mine has been invaluable. I also think that the 350 Mag is the smallest engine I'd go with. the 5.0 will get you on plane and cruise, but depending on how many people and cargo you plan to take with you, it might not be...
according to the Sea Ray archives, only BIII's were offered on that boat http://www.searay.com/Page.aspx/pmId/81082/pageId/10250/view/Overview/Past-Models.aspx
click on the Propulsion tab.
in the parts diagrams it doesn't show another fuel pump after this one. I have one that is on the stringer that is right on top of the gas tank that feed through the filter to this one. My guess this is the HP pump, and I would think the injectors needed the higher pressure to operate...
I assume this is the high pressure fuel pump as the outlet has tubing instead of hose. I would think the injectors need the higher pressure to even operate. I have the fuel pump on the stringer also, two actually, one for the engine and one for the generator. Guess that pump provided enough...
