Flash, i had a similiar issue. Check a small vacuum hose coming off your carb to the fuel filter. I had a kink in mine, simple replacement, boat ran perfect after. It was once a clear tube but now I'm sure it is yellowish. Check it out.

Same issue here....yesterday my port 454 7.4 mercruiser sputtered and stalled. I could not get her back without giving significant revs on the throttle. Thought it was a fuel issue so changed: fuel filter, water separator and played with the choke on the carb which has given me issues in the...

Check out some baby tents for the beach. We used that and zipped them in and surrounded the tent with pillows. Worked really well.

Thanks guys....the camper canvas has been installed along with the xkglow lights under the gunwale and inside the open pockets around the cockpit...pretty happy with it. Will post pics soon.
