I am gluing on a PVC registration number plate on my PVC Zodiac. Can I use PVC Plumbing cement or should I use the Polymarine PVC inflatable boat cement that you can buy at west marine?

Ditto on the plasti dip, I got 2 seasons on the carpets since doing it and holding up great. Don't be afraid give it a try!

I had the same problem a few weeks back and it turned out to be the distributor cap. Might want to check that also. Good luck.

Sorry for not getting back sooner .... that work thing keeps getting in the way of my spare time. It turns out it was a defective distributor cap. Dealer put a new cap and rotor on and it was all set. It was new in the spring, they said they have seen a few bad ones this year ... and I got one...

I picked up nothing, first thing I checked. I have no alarms, everything seems fine. it seems like the engine went in to safe mode, from 3/4 to wide open on the throttle getting up on plane there is no differance... I'm thinking it is a sensor

impeller was changed this spring, temp is fine drive oil is good, I always look now since that was last years problem.

ok ... here is this weeks problem... can't get it up on plane. went out for a 15 min ride, ran great. stopped for lunch hour later went back out ... after a short ride thru no wake zone went to bring it up on plane and it wouldn't go over 3000 rpm!! I don't know what to look for. gas is good...

went from a sea ray 215 EC, great boat can't say anything bad about it to a Four Winns 245 Vista. The four winns was tippy and always took a wave over the bow everytime out. Do what I do ... if you have cable or Sat. at home get a slingbox ( www.slingbox.com ) and watch it on your boat. There are pro's and cons but it works for me and I can watch my home tv on the boat or any where in the world as long as i have internet access and there is no monthly charge.

I'm in R.I. an up the bay a bit. Just went to the boat and tied it up good with the camper top on tight. Talked to a guy that works there and he said with 200+ boats only 2 boats were pulled and those people said don't bother putting it back in ... so they don't count. Let's hope it isn't to bad...

when you guys "paint" the back ... how do you clean the backing of all the loose stuff? My carpets are perpect but the backs are a mess. Need to do something soon and I like these idea's.
