I have a recent Mercury 3.5 outboard. The oil drain plug is leaking so I replaced the washer with a copper one (like I use on cars) but the copper will corrode! What material should I use? Aluminum, fiber gasket, ?? The original one is metal of some sort. Thanks All! Rich
