Need some help guys, today our 2008 340 8.1 port engine had 2 long beeps when the ignition was turned on at the panel. Same again after starting, same again when shut down. Smart Craft displayed "manifold absolute pressure sensor not working properly". The engine seemed to function properly...

John, that sounds ideal. Was that a retrofit action or was our boat delivered that way? (I understand that Sea Ray's wiring scheme often varies from boat to boat.) Is that a 5th batt on your boat? If so was that difficult to have that wired into your shore power batt charger?

Interesting mainstream, thanks. We have typically had both fridges on, stereo, nav eqpt.head system. water pump on. sometimes cabin lights. I had assumed we had plenty of batt power. Then again assume= ass/outta me etc....grin

Our 2008 340DA has failed to start the port engine twice in the last 2 outings 3 days apart after a few hours at anchor. The boat has a thruster, all 4 batts were replaced this spring with interstate 1100 amp charging batts. The batt charger is always on while docked. The 1st non start was...

Guys, Thanks for the replies. I put a cleaning disc in the drive today...the machine ate it. It will not eject. To make matters worse I do not have removal keys. Are the keys universal by any chance? I don't see an easy way to remove the bezel around this POS.

I have a KEC 12v DVD player in my boat. (340 08 DA) When I insert a DVD it displays 'Loading' for a while then displays 'No Disc'. I tried a cleaner DVD and it read it once and completed the cleaning but no difference. Now it won't read the cleaner either. I recall a similar post months...

We had a bikini constructed that attaches to the existing soft top frame with rear supports. The normal aft curtain gets stowed. It certainly keeps us out of the sun!

I use the dock mode often, it helps mitigate an over responsive throttle when the current is strong. YMMV.
