Just saw this and thought I'd let you know that I never have gotten better than 1 GPH. I burn 23 gallons per hour when cruising at about 23 MPH. I have 1060 hours on my engines, but my MPG hasn't changed since I've owned the boat.
It shouldn't. Does everything else work on that switch panel? If so, then maybe it's the EIM that has an issue?
Hopefully, nothing else is working on the switch panel, and it's just lack of battery charge...
All,
I'm about to replace my port switch pad on my Sundancer 300. However, the panel only comes in black. Please see the attached image that shows the method, that I received from Sea Ray HQ, to replace the black panel with the original woodgrain panel. Hope this helps anyone replacing their...
Rob,
I removed the holding tank pump, unclipped the fresh manifold, and moved my stern drive overflow bottle to get my tank out, without removing the manifold or riser on my port engine. Hope that helps...

Ok,
I was right the first time. 4 of 6 screws. My buddy had told me there were 8. He did all the hard labor. The 2 screws that are to remove DO NOT have to be removed, just as everyone said, but I thought the back of the tank meant the screws towards the bulkhead, but actually they are the...
Thanks to everyone posting regarding this topic.
For anyone with a 300 Sundancer from 2002 to 2007, I just worked with a friend of mine to remove the holding tank. I thought that I would have to remove the outer riser of the port engine, but my buddy figured out a way to remove the tank by...

Sal,
I called you today. I just saw your post. My number is 703-626-7625. Please let me know if you still have that holding tank and how much you'd like for it. Thanks!

All,
After a 1 minute conversation with a Tom Turner, a marine tech from Shady Side SeaRay in Shady Side, MD, he concluded that the alarm that I was hearing was a "soft engine alarm" possibly associated with the IAC. He asked if the alarm was a two beep alarm that reoccurred every 30-60 secs...
I recently started my starboard engine and heard an alarm that beeped twice and noticed that the automatic halon system light was off (usually is on if everything is ok). When I started the port engine, the light came on with no alarm. I checked the fire extinguisher and it was still in the...
FYI, the blowers are screwed into the transom on either side of the bilge, I had thought they were right at the opening on either side... Very easy to replace.

Does anybody have any tips on how to remove the starboard blower on a 2002-2007 300DA? I found an access panel next to my aft bench
seat, but can't see the blower. I can feel it, but don't know how to remove/replace it. Thanks in advance!

I'm having trouble rewiring my cockpit speakers from the old 2 cv amp to the new 4 ch amp. Can anyone tell me how to wire the speakers in parallel on the 4 ch amp? Which speakers are paralleled with each other. The arch speakers aren't shown the schematic in the owners manual. Thanks in...
