So while rafting with friends, can one device provide the signal and multiple boats pick up the same bluetooth signal? Therefore all playing the same music?
Can it be done?
I'm looking for options to dress up my dock area at night. Mostly for aesthetic purposes. I found this.
www.luminautic.com
Pretty cool so I thought I would share. they sent me a sample and its much brighter than I thought. No drilling and no running electric.
Any other good options out there?
Hmm. Better have calm seas for this giraffe boat.

I have a 2000 Westerbeke 5.0 genny. The breaker keep tripping. Here are the clues.
Genny was running ok prior to me changing out all the batteries (may or may not be related)
The wiring harness gets noticably hot and it trips the breaker even without trying to start the genny.
Where would you...
My local Marine Max has had a 370 on the lot for at least 2+ years. Original list was $451,907. Said now they have it at
$270,295.
Just thought it was interesting. Either MM overreached on the price, or these boats are not as popular as they thought. Maybe both.
So with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, he proceeds to change a leaky genny waterpump.
230 gallons of gasoline are just 18 inches away.
What would you do?
Regarding carpeting...that black backing is garbage, but is the "nuWave" any better?
If it were, you would think they would provide a warranty, but they don't.
Any real world experience?
I have a Norcold model DE-451. Unfortunately the cheap plastic door shelf insert is no longer manufactured.
Anyone have one laying around? Any ideas?

Wow, $650 from Snapin for cockpit carpet for my 29 foot boat. Thought i paid $400 or so last time. Sheesh. Anybody have a better option?

In two places (engine room) the sound deadening material has seperated from the fiberglass. I need to re-glue.
Any recommendations here on the kind to use?
I keep my 290 AJ in the water year round in the water in the backyard. I dive the boat about every 2 weeks in the summer as the growth is agressive. I'm curiuos what you use to clean? I use a plastic putty knife and 3M pad. Better way?
I would like to bounce by my situation off some of the experts here. Here ar ethe facts;
boat is 2000 model year 290 AJ

the last time i had the boat out, it reduced power and the starboard motor was running terrible. Compression test found NO...
It seems like being a marine surveyor would be a great gig for those of us that are semi-retired or looking to supplement some income.
Of course, as with any trade, you would have to ease into it and perhaps be an apprentice and get certified.
Is this a good idea. Anyone already doing this?
