I painted the bottom of my Searay Sundancer 340 yesterday. I didn’t paint the underwater mufflers , trim tabs and the other underwater ports cause of the copper within the paint. I’m assuming all those things need to be painted. Any suggestions what to use? Thx

Good morning, I have a 2000 Searay Sundancer 340. The starboard, rudder packing is leaking. Can it be tightened while it’s still in the water. And if so, do I need to remove anything. thanks for any help

You mean temporarily seal from the outside like others have suggested and wait till I pull it out of the water at the end of the season?

No I’m really not. And there is a ground wire connected to it. I’m lost . I can try to tighten more when I pull it out. Would u be a butcher just to seal around the garboard plate if it is tight? Is removing that ground wire even possible from its location ?

Hello. I have a 2000 searay sundancer 340. Had boat in shop to fix a leak with the exhaust bolt and with my luck the drain plug now leaks. I have no idea how to replace it besides watching couple videos on YouTube. Can anyone please give me an idea on how I should do it so I don’t mess things...

Thanks for your response. I agree. Dealing with the marina repair shop has been a pita. Pretty much have to beg them to do their job. Finally got them to pull the boat and replace one screw. It worked by def replacing rest when boats pulled for the season.

Hi. That’s for the reply. That’s one of the 4 screws that holds the underwater exhaust to the boat. Have u ever heard or seen one of these screws leaking ? I have the boat out but the tech doesnt seem to really know what he’s doing in this area. I’m thinking if just telling him to take it down...

Do u having any parts left ? I need interior skylight ceiling shades and shower curtain and clips .
