    Oil cooler for 8.1L

I have a never been installed oil cooler for an 8.1L motor. I never got around to changing it before I sold my 360. I also have extra nuts, bolts, and studs for a manifold replacement project. When I replaced my manifolds, I was able to reuse most of the studs, bolts, washers, and nuts. I...

Blue Hull, Just how bad of a PITA is it ?

I had a blue hull on my 360. It was my first and last colored hull. I also only used to drive black trucks and cars. I loved the way that blue hull looked once cleaned and waxed. If you stay up on it, they will remain beautiful. Had I kept the boat, I would have painted it and it would have...

    Calling all 360 DA owners

The screw in the back for me was a stopping screw. Meaning, I would push the TV on the wood plate to the screw in the back, then tighten the front two screws. Now, I can't tell you if the back screw missed the mark of the wood base, or was only a stopping point. Either way, it worked for me.

For mine, I only had the two front screws, then I had to work the wood base out. Of course the TV was screwed into the wood base.

I will tell you, I've grown up on the water. I've heard many people say a real captain doesn't need a bow thruster. However, for me, boating on the coast where we deal with both wind and current, a thruster is VERY nice. If on a lake, maybe not. But I sure wouldn't turn one down.

    10 quart in a 8.1?

Mine were 9. However on one of the changes, one motor took 9.5. I think that somewhere in those 9 quarts, I really didn't get the full 9 quarts. As I said, it only happened once.

Same as Jeff. Turn on the pump and let it do it's work. Just make sure the oil is warm.

    340 DA 6.2s vs 8.1s

Why not look at a 360 with 8.1's. Plenty of room, well relatively speaking between them. You can stand between them, and the price is almost the same.

About to buy DA - 360 or 380 - Do you feel the 2 feet

Like mentioned above, my 360 never met a fuel dock she didn't want to visit. But man, I loved those 8.1's!

The blue hull is a head turner. Just stay on the detailing/ waxing. I washed her every week, and she looked beautiful. Congrats!

36DA Galley Side Electrical is dead?

Did you find the outlets under the microwave in the very back of the sliding door? I think there iare 3 outlets hidden in the galley. One for TV, one for microwave, and maybe one in the middle storage area. I found one while cleaning the boat out before we sold her. Just can't remember exact...
