Well stretched the springs out and changed out the thermostat again and I'm back to normal temps. The new thermostat that I changed out last month was actually stuck closed. Thank you everyone for the great advise.

Hot at idle and normal temp at higher RPM

Got the heads back from the machine shop at noon on Friday and had it running by 7:00 pm that night. We were able to enjoy the boat on Sat. and Sun. with no issues. Total cost was $660 in parts and a lifetime of beer for the labor. Thanks to everyone for all your help and suggestions!!

    Cylinder heads

I have a 350 260 hp with 462624 heads. If i were to put a set of 14014416 heads on it, what would be the perfomance outcome? I know that the 416 has a smaller cc, and smaller valves, and would give me more compression, but what would be the difference in over all performance be?
