Not much unless you’re sitting in traffic… but if you’re sitting in traffic so slow that you might as well measure your fuel consumption in hours instead of distance, it saves a lot… it’s impossible to give a number because traffic makes my consumption go up so much, the fuel economy gauge tops...
Mercedes has it, it annoyed me at first before I realized it only actually engages if you’re still on the brakes after the car has stopped. I now like it and it does save a lot of fuel, especially sitting in traffic. You can also disengage it before you accelerate by turning the steering wheel a...
Either that or they have a friend on FB who’s had their account jacked. At least kids who have grown up on the internet know that if they can’t verify in real life that it’s their friend’s social media account, it’s probably not them and they just laugh but adults don’t seem so quick to pick it...
I used to live in a house that had garages open onto a very narrow alleyway… two cars could just barely squeeze by if they were going in opposite directions. I began to despise everyone who drove a BMW because their LED lights were maddening at night. Not only could no one pass them because they...
I’m comfortable doing it myself as long as I know what I’m doing …I’ve just never drilled through a hull and have no idea what’s back there… god wiling, it isn’t wood lol, but I guess it’s better to rip that bandaid off and find out how good I am at it on a 24’ boat than a bigger one lol
I...
Is that who makes this one or just in general? I came across them a few weeks ago but they didn’t seem to have much of a selection. I’ve seen some for other boats that have storage options and stuff.
I’d like to add a swim platform but I’m not a fan of drilling anything below the waterline. Are there any designs that avoid that?
Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?
Failing that, does anyone know the manufacturer of this one?
Not entirely serious, but in theory, if you MacGyver a filter onto your shower drain, you could recirculate the shower water and treat it with non-chlorine hot tub shock and throw a chlorine puck into the tank somehow (the puck eats whatever it touches so it has to float somehow). Unless someone...
IKEA has a section near the front of the store by customer service that’s nothing but a wall of bins of spare parts… I don’t know if they’re all like that, but mine has the widest selection of random little rubber bumpers I’ve ever seen in my life… and the price… lol
Good to know. Maybe that’s why they never came with one? I was just assuming since the 240 that year seems to be missing a lot of options from prior years that it was price thing for those years. Maybe it is a design thing?
They’re both 2011 Sundancers. As far as I know, the 240s never came with a radar arch. I could be wrong though, I just haven’t seen any with one. I’ll definitely measure before getting started. Right now I’m just wondering if it’s even worth planning on.
I‘ve worked with people with mental health issues for 20 years… if people are amused by those posts, I could start a whole 19 page thread of my own with weird stories that go nowhere and incidents that make no sense lol
I’m new lol I’ve heard several legends of a plywood bow but haven’t quite worked out what that’s about yet. I’m confident it will all fall into place one day.
Thanks! Weirdly, the beam is the same on both boats, according to the specs.
If you or anyone has any experience with prying it off and has any tips or advice, I’d appreciate it! Both boats are in storage right now so we’re just going by photos of how it might be attached.
Is there anything...
