    Domestic water leak

That’s the very difficult part… too many black hoses in remarkably difficult places to trace but I guess that’s the only way

    Domestic water leak

Well… here I go again… after 3 days or more of trying to track this down… I’ve gone full circle. I’ve been tracing the blue tubing that carries the domestic water… armed with a endoscopy camera I turned on the domestic water pump to track the leak and could immediately hear dripping in the cubby...

    Domestic water leak

I’m new to this boat but it has an aftermarket Heater providing warm air to the cabin and bridge… it pulls heat… I think… from the warm engine or hot water heater… the exact source I’m not yet sure of… when I figure that out I’ll let you know…

    Domestic water leak

The last two days of searching have been a mind bender… I bought an endoscopy camera as recommended above… there appears a good chance the leak in the cabin is not related to the domestic water, although the system looses pressure and the pump cycles every 10 or 15 seconds without any demand for...

    Domestic water leak

Thanks Bob… boy I’m going to owe you a case of beer, or more … I’ve tracked down the blue line and it runs the way the diagrammatic in the parts manual shows… so it starts off running up from the pump and weaves back to run along the starboard side back to the swim grid wash down… the only...

    Domestic water leak

Yes the pump cycles on and off when no demand… no taps on… water tank is a rectangle and no evidence of water in that area… when pump isn’t running there is no water accumulating in the wet area (the lid of the the cubbyhole / storage cupboard) … I’m not connected to shore water, heard too many...

I really appreciate your thoughts… I have a mechanic coming out on Wednesday who also happens to own a SeaRay… maybe with both of us looking we can figure things out…

    Domestic water leak

Thar she lies … you were right! so this confirms the water is draw from the left side of the pump and pushed out to the Starboard side… so the mystery remains… why to starboard and how is it routed back to the port side where it feeds toilet, sinks and wash downs which are all on the port side???

    Domestic water leak

Yup I did… at some point in the purchase and appraisal process someone pointed to a tank and said that’s your water tank… but now I’m going to see if it is under the seating… that would make life easier as I could replace the who line and forget about trying to find the leak… you can tell I’m...

Thanks but no … water tank on Port side bilge…

    Domestic water leak

No anchor wash down… pump mounted on the back wall of the bilge shows a blue water line running up and into the cabin… the water (when domestic water pump is on) runs down from the lid of this small storage area… really difficult to even see where the water line runs… if anyone has any...

    Domestic water leak

I have a 310 Sundancer (2000) and have a domestic water leak in the cabin, leaking in the seating area under the helm… the water line runs from the pump mounted on the back of the engine room wall up and into the cabin on the starboard side of the boat… the leaking water runs down from the top...
