I know this is an older thread butI am having a similar issue with the “low oil pressure warning” not allowing the starboard engine to start. @kvduff what was your fix?
The biggest difference that I can tell with the Monaco edition is the two-tone gel coat on the hull. Plus, the upholstery was blue and white striped, but the upholstery has been recently replaced.
We have a fully executed vessel acceptance on a 2002 380DA Monaco edition with CAT 3126 engines. We have been searching for 4 months, looked at a number of boats, and been under contract twice before. All that searching led us to the perfect boat!!! We have been reading this blog non-stop and...
The search has continued and we are actually under contract again! This time the price is more realistic, the seller is being cooperative, and we are conducting the survey on Friday. The boat is in Portland, OR and we are in Los Angeles (Long Beach) so shipping is gonna be a bit, we believe...
Well, as it turns out it was so much the “deal of the century” that the seller canceled the contact before we did the survey. So we never even got to see the boat. They have it relisted for $130k.
Oh, great! We are on the wait list for Alamitos Bay. We will most likely get a slip somewhere else for a few months as the wait is about 6 months. Would definitely like to chat about your boat and experiences boating, we are new to boating. Thanks!
contemplating the trip in a 2007 340. The more I read about it, the less confident I get, but I am going to continue research and plan. If we do it, I will definitely post about it!

Thanks for all the info! We are under contract!!! Surveys are happening next Thursday.

Has anyone made the trek from Northern California to Southern California? Thinking of going from San Francisco to Long Beach over Labor Day weekend. My initial reviews ssys its about 450 miles. Thinking of doing the trip in four days. Any thoughts on this specific trip or other longer cruises?
Thanks! Survey is a must, especially in the salt water. Original engines. Low hours is good, barely broken in, and bad as the boats been sitting and doing nothing a lot with nasty salt water in it!
Hi everyone! I am graduating to a bigger boat. My wife and I are currently set on the Sundancer 340 and there are a couple for sale locally here in Southern California. Any thing to look out for when buying one of these beauties, positive or negative? The one that we are most interested is...
