Problem Solved!
Thank you everyone for your diagnoses!
Turns out it was the starter fuse. That thing was hidden on the starboard underside of the motor and looks nothing like a fuse I had ever seen. Take a look at the attached image of the culprit!
Anyhow, it's 82 and sunny here at Lake...
Re: Won't start - Sea Ray Sundeck 230
Chuck1,
Thanks for your post. Actually, my boat is a 2004 Sundeck 220 - not a 230! I had that wrong.
I took the batteries to the local store for testing to see if they could be recharged and they pronounced them dead.

Re: Won't start - Sea Ray Sundeck 230
Westie,
I found a button red reset button back there. That thing doesn't seem to be a normal type breaker that you can "flip" back to on. It's just a push button. Pushing down on it seems to do nothing. It doesn't stay down or anything. Should it...
Re: Won't start - Sea Ray Sundeck 230
VTSeaRay,
Thanks for your idea. I did see two breakers back near the batteries. According to the manual, those by-pass the battery selector switch to give power to the bilge pump and the stereo memory even if the battery selector is set to None or OFF...

Are you saying that I should follow the cables that come from the battery...
Re: Won't start - Sea Ray Sundeck 230
I tried the battery selector switch. Same result with it on the #1, #2, and Both setting.
That wasn't it.
Also, I took the back panel off the from behind the cockpit to get to the back of the ignition lock. I make sure that none of the wires going to...
Re: Won't start - Sea Ray Sundeck 230
Thanks for your quick ideas!
I tried the dead man switch and it's on. The gear is in neutral. I suspect that even if they were part of the issue, that would only explain why she won't crank. It still doesn't explain why I don't have power to anything like...
Maybe someone here can help me. . .
I left the key in the ignition turned to the setting left of the OFF setting. I guess it's the setting to keep the stereo and such running. Needless to say, I get down to the dock next day and hear that faint warning beep telling me that both my batteries...
