Hey LD…there is a toggle for the depth finder…thanks. It turns the unit on but it flashes zero…when in the water of course. Is it the transducer that craps out or the in dash unit’s brain box? I know the 3500 is obsolete and I’m trying to find a replacement…not sure which direction to go..

Thanks scoflaw..I did get a replacement online (discontinued originals) but when I compared it with the one off the boat, it was louder. Pulled mine off the engine and did a side by side test. Put the old one back on and sent the new one back. Pain in the ass….guess I need to take it to a shop...

Is it normal for the fuel pump to be loud? Quite noisy when the key is turned on then stops, guessing after it builds pressure, then loud again when the engine is running.

Thanks ColoSR…I did find some info about the dead rise and you are bang on. I may have to return the Hawkeye if the other’s thru hull isn’t compatible…and my Lowerance may need a contortionist to remove it.
Thanks LD…I’ll have a look. A little unnerving not knowing how close the bottom is especially in murky waters. I checked the fuse for it and it is good.
