You are supposed to de-winterize in the lake. Just push it off the trailer, and then see if it starts as you drift into deep enough water to fully trim down.

My concern isn't the storage as much as the movement on and off. Stupid forklift operators for example. HVAC units sit on TPO roofs all the time. But you can build a good sized metal storage building for the price of replacing a roof when someone screws up the placement.
Another factor to consider is height. Type of trailer matters, as aluminum bunk trailers are taller than steel trailers with drop axles. Mine is almost 10' to the top of the windshield. Add a Tower, and the top is over 11' even folded forward.

I buy dual purpose batteries at Sam's Club. Never take them out, just put a charger on them every 2-3 months. I usually get 3-4 years out of them. When one goes bad, I buy another. That's why you have 2 :-)

I had a cracked speedometer tube do something like this. It only leaked when it was underway. Clue was the speed reading was only about half of what I new I was doing.
Installed winter 2023, price was complete turn key, out the door. Currently using the helm switches. I might add a foot switch or handheld remote this winter.
