seawater leaking 4.3 efi closed cooling

My distribution header as called out by the manual is leaking. It is round in shape with two cooling hoses and two small plastic tubes connected. It appears that the two small tubes control it in some way. there is also a drain cock along with a orange rubber tube. It appears to me that it...

Did anyone get a chance to download the manual #32? It seems the links within the 32cover.pdf do not work any more.

    280 wot rpm

I ran the test. Looks like trimming the drives did the trick. I was able to get 4720 RPM with the drives trimmed up. It looks like I do not have a problem after all. Thanks for the advice.

    280 wot rpm

I'll try the test with just one person. Sounds like I have the correct gear ratio and prop pitch. I need to confirm the pitch. Need to get in the water to check the prop.

    280 wot rpm

The engines have only 38hrs. They run smooth. With trim tabs all the way up both engines only get 4100 RPM at WOT. Just was wondering what every one else has as the gear ratio for the 4.3L. Looks like one post has 2.00:1. I have 1.62:1. I don't trust MM in installing the correct drives.

    280 wot rpm

I was told by MM that they replaced the drives with the correct ratio. I have no idea what the original ratio was. There may be no way of knowing. I would think all 280's with twin 4.3l should have the same ratio right? I was told the props were the original SS.

    280 wot rpm
