    Grilling on the boat

Good point - but why not just make up a longer propane hose so your gas canister is truely portable, can put it on the floor..... and you can stow or remove after use?

Need for Bottom paint on outdrive

EVERYONE listen here. This is good advice. The copper will EXCELLERATE bi-metalic corrosion. That is why you have a 1" white gap around your outdrive. Copper and aluminum will not mix well, and will basically make you a nice little primitave battery which will also make you good friends with the...

would you take a 240SD to the Bahamas?

I would maybe consider a DA, but no way for a SD. Plus for the 240DA I would need lots of this....in the original spill proof decanter Pusser's navy rum.

Where Do I Mount A Magma Kettle Grill?

I can not tell from the angle, but does it hang over the side? Was just thinking of a grease drip or some other nastiness on that white platform.... and if it does, how comfortable is it to use? Just looks like you are bending way down and having to reach out?

    1999 Sundancer 340

Got to agree here..... Be carefull though that with an older boat, this might have occurred - - Excited new boat owner goes out every single chance they can 1st year. Takes a few long trips... adds 150 hours... next season, 50 hrs..... next two seasons 0 hours and sells...... My point is...

1973 Searay Just bought no manual.

You might give them a ring, or search some of the pictures they have from 72 or 1976 onward. I discovered that earlier years, SR would publish a generic owners manual that would cover several similar models. Like they might have a "sport cruiser" type owners manual that would be for the...

Two parter ?? - Pachanga vs. SS

OK, I hope I do not ramble too much, and you can follow me. I have been trying to guess my family's activities, and I think the kids would love some action such as towables, skiing, just moving or some fishing. I think they would get tired of the old drop anchor and enjoy the sitting around...

    Boating makes you fat!

put down the beverage and get on the towable / ski / etc behind the boat, tread water instead of sitting in a tube, do some swimming with the kids....and you will be nice and slim. If not, get a sail boat and grind a winch or two while running from side to side......same results.

    2007/2008 Lake Level Water Problems

Well, it is not that unusual in some areas with major tides to leave them on the ground till the next high.... But that is hours - - the people in GA might be looking at months in the muck. http://www.photoeverywhere.co.uk/britain/welshcoast/slides/yachts3841.JPG
