Thanks! We are at a high-and-dry by the Gandy bridge. Took a run around the S. Tampa peninsula and up to downtown (by the Marriott, Convention Center, then up the river a little bit), which took about 50 minutes each way cruising at 3500 RPMS (around 30mph). Great first trip. About 25 miles each...
Rol - I haven't had this issue. You should have it checked out. DTS is supposed to prevent this type of issue in replacement of the older "cord" systems. Like the name states, it is all digital. The throttle lever should not lag at all. Good luck
Thanks guys!
I actually ran on "Both" batteries tonight, rather than alternating between the two, which gave them a chance to charge up. Someone suggested that since the automatic bilge was in use because of rainwater, it defaults to Battery #1, so when I ran on Battery #1 last night, it was...
Hey everyone! I haven't been on this site in months. Very busy.
Haven't been on the boat much, unfortunately. Went for a cruise this evening after the boat was sitting for about a month, unused. SmartCraft System Fault went off indicating Low Voltage. Will be down at the boat tomorrow, what are...
Hey Vic1, sorry about the slow response.
Haven't had the chance to do the NYC trip and it probably won't happen this year. Not for any reason other than not having the time, unfortunately. Good luck and let us know how your trip goes. Best wishes.
Definitely in order to see Cuttyhunk/E Islands, try to stay in Falmouth if you can. Everything's very easily accessible, because it's a quick shot straight across to the Vineyard, and then you can follow along the Vineyard coast, so you're never too far from land.

You can call Black Dog Wharf ahead of time and see what they think. We usually just go over for a few hours and have no problem pulling right up. With overnight docking though, I bet they'd appreciate, if not require, reservations. Give a call a few weeks before you plan on heading over just to...
Depending on how much $ you're prepared to spend for lodging, if the Mansion House in VH would be too expensive (or booked full), you could look into the Vineyard Harbor Motel. Never stayed there, but it looks pretty nice. Right on the beach in VH, basically right next to your boat! We've...
It definitely depends what you're looking for. All the above options are excellent, it's just completely up to how you want to spend your long weekend. Hyannis is definitely a bit busy, Vineyard Haven is a quiet island paradise. I'd stay over the Vineyard if I were you, just to get the whole...
We're at Green Pond, but it's seasonal docking. Not a transient marina (not to mention you wouldn't get under our bridge!). Look at MacDougall's in Falmouth Harbor! You should definitely have some luck over there. Nice marina.
I see Charlie's point, but it's kind of part of the fun to be able to have a home base somewhere, and keep your traveling for the boat, rather than in the towing vehicle!
More of a boating-filled experience to see what it would be like to be here permanently! We keep our boat at a marina in...
Definitely! I'm actually a high school student down here, Legal Limit is my family's boat. I do all the CSR stuff. I'm the "Captain" .
Take her to the Flying Horse's Carousel in Oak Bluffs. The kids love that. You can grab a blue town mooring in OB. Usually they raft 3 or 4 boats to each...
No need for a Dancer around here! You have the perfect boat for our area. We kept with an open bow just so we can enjoy all the beautiful beaches and stuff around here.
Lodging-wise, look at The Mansion House hotel in Vineyard Haven. Great location, Main St., Vineyard Haven, just up the road...
