I have an 85 260 da and have great results with a 15 1/4 x 15, 3 blade aluminum. That was what Sea Ray suggested. What kind of drive? I have an alpha I, SEI replacement.

It's called bow steer. It's common in sea rays built in the 80's. Even single screw. You just have to learn how to trim differently to fix the problem. Over trimming/tabbing makes the problem WAY worse. Good luck with ur new drive.

I would replace the fuel lines and the fuel/water seperator. With my boat, since the ethanol switch, the fuel lines become spongey and don't allow the fuel to pass freely, hence the stall. I replaced those and no more stalling. I also grabbed a bottle of gas treatment incase there was water in...

LOL! I'm only 5'6" so I tend to sqeeze into spaces that most can't. The engine compartment is huge in my boat compared to my old Crownline so I have NO complaints whatsoever :)

I have to be honest, I have no idea what that bracket it for. I never actually saw it on the boat, my dad took it off :) But if I find it in my endless efforts to clean her out this spring, I'll be happy to share my findings!
