What skills should I learn before I purchase My first boat?

What skills should I learn before I purchase My first boat?

    Gales of November

Doesn't look so bad... Try being the middle of the Atlantic in a hurricane... I was on a merchant ship taking waves on the bridge at 120' in the air, and doing 40 degree roles... Luckily I was young and stupid and thought it was fun... I have taken 20' waves in my sundancer, in a storm coming in...

Done winterizing....Where is all this water coming from????

When I do it, I use the full pressure 100 PSI on my compressor... I manually drain the water heater first. I also blow on both side of the water pump, which leads to the water heater. At the end, I open the water heater drain value and blow out the water heater... I also blow out the AC system...

2 burner electric cooktop doesn't work

There is a little button (safety switch) on the edge of the counter top. The cook top cover depresses it... It sticks down sometimes and the cook top won't go on... Look for it, clean it, and push it in and out, and your cook top will magically work again...

Is it common to engage a broker to sell current boat before using them to buy another?

If I were you, I would sell your boat yourself... I have always done that. Boats are selling very quickly now, and you should have no trouble selling your boat. At the same time, start looking online for your next boat, and take your time. If you see a boat owned by a dealer, like Marine...

I had a heat exchanger go on me this year, about 2k to replace it... Check the antifreeze before and after the boat engines cool... The temps should run just over 170 deg F. Make sure you know if you have to change the exhaust manifolds, risers, and elbows.. Find out when the last time the...
