In my case it turned out not to be a problem with the torsion coupler at all. I spent a lot of money just to find out it was torsional noise. Boats been running fine since then.

Hi John, Don't know who the current owner is. I traded the boat in on the 38. I believe the boat went to a lake in Tennessee. We've been good, how are you? Finally retired in February. Been enjoying the fruits of my labor. So far the only problem I see with retirement is NO DAYS OFF!

Totally agree on the LED's. Uses less power and as mention above, does not get hot.

Correction; the amps were found behind the electric panel in the salon. Marinemax told me that the amps were under the salon sofa.

Turns out your are correct. The amps are under the center portion of the couch in the salon.
