    Prop question, Need advise.

I just swicthed from a 3 blade 19 pitch on my 260hp. I went with a high 5 17 pitch. Feels like a completely different boat. The difference was amazing. What conditions are you trying to improve by changing props?

Anybody else installed a "car" receiver in their boat?

You'll be fine. The marine units have a little extra protection over the circuit areas. I also installed a standard unit in my 1997 Signature with my audio installers recommendation. Are you planning to install a wakeboard tower next spring? It's well worth the investment. H2o watersports has a...

    Irene... stay the hell away!

The eye is closing on us now. Overall conditions aren't to bad though. Of course we are without power & the noise box is keeping us on back up power. Seems like Isabel had a little more punch. If we can hold out a few more hours we'll be good. Who knows with any luck we could be boating tommorow.

I have a 400lb single sack for the stern too. I prefer not to use it. I have no where to stow it.

So I finally had a chance to try out my new High Five Prop

What a major difference. She performs like a totally different boat. Comes out of the hole like a ROCKET. :smt038 High Five 17p on a 2008 SD200 / 5.0MPI * Great Holeshot * More responsive through turns * Maintaining Desired speed is also excellent. * I'm not sure about top speed. I...

New to boating and Sea Ray.....

Welcome to you & your family. You made the right choice. I loved my 190 Signature. There a great size for any family. Large enough for comfort, easy to trailer & it won't drain your wallet. Just try to stay off the throttle a little and you'll run all weekend. Do you know what size prop is on...

    Looking for sea ray 185

Thanks The carpet was factory original. Great first boat. I miss it but it was starting to show a little wear. ( seats & upholstered trim pieces) She ran like a champ though. I was at a point of sell or spend. So I sold & spent a buttload on my upgrade. Go Figure :(

    Looking for sea ray 185

I have to agree. The $10,000 price tag seems high in today's market. Here's a few photos of my 1997 190 Sig. Dual axle galvinized, 5.0 with 245hrs, Aerial assault tower with a intense sound system. Sold for $9,000

    Looking for sea ray 185

We started with a 1997 Sea Ray 190 Signature. We paid $6,500 for it and had it for three seasons. This model had a 5.0 and wasn't to bad on the wallet. We are also watersports fans. Never had any issues at all. We upgraded this summer to a 2008 SD 200 with the 5.0 fuel injected power plant. Much...

I think my boat is sold. Now what? Financial advice needed...

If your buyer is local as your post stated I would accept his cashiers check. ( bank Check) and call said bank to verify. When I bought our new Sea Ray a few months ago the selller and us met at our bank to close the deal. Worked out great for both of us. Good luck & be safe. Troy

    Talk about a Tight fit

That would best the best option. I have a three car( wide) driveway but the city ordinance requires any recreational vehicle has to be on the side of the house. The keystone cops keep posting nasty little notes on my door. So we play the hide & seek game until the season is over. Also we...

    Talk about a Tight fit

Ya I refilled the tires as soon as I cleared the header. The admiral thought I was crazy. I was determined to have my baby indoors this winter. Well worth the effort.

    Talk about a Tight fit

So I wanted to see if our SD200 would fit in the garage for this winters storage. I knew I would have to move a free standing cabinet off the back wall to get the depth I needed. So lets get busy. We cleared the garage out ( 2 street bikes, 2 scooters, 2 Raptor 700r atvs & a yz125) and...
