HUGE Navionics Rebate - Up to $200 OFF

What about for those who may have purchased recently, and the items haven't shipped yet. Any chance the rebate could be applied?

    Black mold in the caulking

I've had good luck with Soft Scrub Gel with Bleach and a small brush. I scrubbed it into suds and let it sit until it started to dry, usually about 10 minutes if not in the sun. One more scrub, then remove with a wet rag that I kept rinsing.

Need new fridge. DC or AC/DC?

Awesome advice from everyone. I was on the fence, trying to save a hundred bucks, but I've decided to go with the AC/DC model and I've selected a Vitrifrigo that is a drop in (or close enough). It's already wired for both AC and DC in the space, so I'll just use it as it was intended and...

Need new fridge. DC or AC/DC?

Thanks for the replies from all. To be clear, I'm not even considering an AC only unit, but I am considering a DC only unit. I'm really wondering why I should have an AC option and pay extra for it. I've seen the reply from JimG that speaks of extra work for the converter as the only...

Need new fridge. DC or AC/DC?

I have to replace the Norcold unit that came with my boat as it gave up it's ghost last season. The Norcold unit that came out was AC/DC operation. I'm looking at various brands and they all seem to cost about $100 more for the AC option. I'm wondering, what would be the advantage of having...

2002 310 Sea Ray DA Engine hatch manual overide

Two ways to accomplish this. The first, and easiest, is to plug a jumper box into the cigar lighter and use the electrics to lift the hatch. The manual way is to open each of the two access ports on the floor of the cockpit, reach in, pull the pins, and lift. It's heavy. Very heavy. Bring...

Props for 310 IB 300 hp

Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Verify the transmission ratios are the same on your boat as the boat you are comparing against.

    Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

For me it's around 22-26 knots. I'd have to pay attention to the exact speed versus RPM to be sure as I pretty much just hit it by sound and feel now. My boat pulls a touch under 30 GPH at around 24 knots. Sorry I can't be more precise from memory.

    Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

I've installed Garmin fuel flow sensors that tie into my NMEA 2000 network and are displayed on my Garmin networked instruments. As investments go, it's horrible. I get horrible mileage no matter what and using meters to tell me the difference between .9 and 1.0 MPG certainly won't pay for...

    Official (1998-2002) 310 Sundancer Thread

My fan runs continually, but the compressor does not. In HU mode, there are no temp settings that I'm aware of. It feels pretty warm in there, maybe mid eighties. It's been a while since I read the manual, and it's about 35 miles away on the boat right now, but I don't recall a temp setting...

    310 sundancer

I usually cruise between 3200 and 3600 RPM. Last year was my first year with my 310DA and it was a very windy year on the Chesapeake so I had to vary my speed to match the timing of the waves for comfort. Fuel use readings were taken from twin Garmin fuel flow sensors. Also, I didn't know it...

I get between .8 and 1.0 NM per gallon while cruising at about 18-22 knots.

Antenna mounting relative heights to each other

Thanks for the advice. I'll get a mount for the radar to keep it's transmissions out of the GPS reception area. For the XM, I will follow the instructions to a "T" including any templates that are included.

Antenna mounting relative heights to each other

I need to mount antennas on my new (to me) 310DA. The current electronics package is a little dated and I want to freshen it up with some new toys. The antennas are all pretty much in the same plane currently, but will all be replaced this spring before the heat of summer, so I want to do it...

Prop shaft break on 07 340

I have my boat sitting right next to Here4Beer being prepped for delivery (just bought it used from MM). I saw you coming in and headed straight to the lift slot. I was sorry to see your plans ruined for the weekend, but hopefully this will be the first, last, and only big problem you have...

    Gold package

LE SELECT: Would you mind sharing a link to the replacement knobs you've found? strategy9: Have you had any luck in finding trim? I have just purchased a 2001 310DA and it also has the 90's gold package look. My wife hates it and I've been tasked with getting in changed out. I haven't...

o/ Boat wave from the Baltimore area

You? Not sure. I've not had good experience with my neighbors from the northern country of Canada. Perhaps you could change that trend. You've been the first to respond to my first post, so you clearly think a lot about me, and that matters a whole lot...to me...

o/ Boat wave from the Baltimore area

Hi. I'm not new to boating, or to Sea Ray, but I am new to this board. I've used this board as a resource while researching my next boat and have my sights set on a 2002 310DA. In the past I've owned a 1983 200 Sea Ray Seville, and currently a 1987 Four Winns 190. I'm upgrading to a...
