My anchor windlas is giving me fits...Over the w/end, I replaced my anchor with a 14lb Delta anchor, and now the motor is running, and I can't get the line to go up or down...before that, it was working, but sometimes kinda slowly...every once in a while, I had to tap the side to wake the motor...
Been having problems with my gen set since I've got it...but for now it's running again...just had to replace the fuel pump (2nd one in the past 6 months)...but yesterday after I got it running again, I've noticed the volatage at my ac outlet is 105 volts...is that "safe" or should I "tweak" the...

on my boat by the ladder is "spongy" when I step on it. It looks like the ladder has made a small indentation in the top of it, causing water to leak in and evidently rot the "balsa wood" inside. Anyway, that's what the fiberglass repair guy told me it would cost me for repairs to the tune of...
My wet/dry head pumps out, but won't suck any water in...I've checked the sea cock, and cleaned it, and I'm getting water to that point, where do I go next?
I am guessing my original "built in" Panasonic unit is fried (due to gen set failure) and was trying to take it out this am, but the easter bunny won and I had to stop...has anyone had the pleasure of removing one of these units and can tell me the "secret", I'd appreciate it! It sure as heck...
All of a sudden, it seems like my quicksilver 5.0 generator is putting out too many volts. I realized it when I turned on my AC unit, and the meter on the distribution panel pegged, so I shut it off immediately. Now the microwave doesn't work on either shorepower or generator. Checking the...
Hey guys...
I'm running 150 on my port engine and 170 on the stbd...the book calls for 145 thermostats I think..do I need to worry or just change out the thermostats...the water is still cold here in VA?
I have 3 batteries, one near the generator and two in the cockpit...I'm guessing one is the port engine and one the starbord? It seems that any time I start the boat, I have to use the emergency start to get one one the engines started (never the same one that's dead)...I keep the boat on shore...
