    EHM6-SM Water Heater Thermostat/ECO

Hi Dale. What I could find online, the original p/n for the thermostat/eco kit was 90037. That looks like it was discontinued and replaced with 92052. That was also discontinued, and broken up (shipped without the mounting plate) to 92051 (which I couldn't find). I looked at p/n 91447, but...

    EHM6-SM Water Heater Thermostat/ECO

I think my thermostat is has given up the ghost on my Atwood water heater. When I reset the ECO at the water heater, it turns on and heats up the water very nice and super hot, then quits. I'm having trouble finding replacement thermostats/ECO's for this model. Does anyone have any leads?

Does anyone know where to find a new white laminate door panel for the Norcold refrigerator on this boat? I’ve tried everywhere I can think of for parts, and I can’t find. My other impossible to find part is the Italian eyeball overhead lamps (I broke the spring off of one replacing the...

    7.4L EFI Surging/Stalling Under Load

I just realized I never closed the loop on this thread, but this problem was ultimately solved with a … tune up. New plugs, rotors, wires, and caps. Runs like it’s new. Kind of embarrassing, but also very relieved it’s something simple and relatively inexpensive. Thanks to all for your advice...

I’ve done the math, and ‘hired help’ is much cheaper and better looking than Ms Sanchez over the long run. Not sure why he went this route.

Raymarine Transducer Install on 370 DA

yes, I did. Used the angle gage on a band saw to cut it. Measure twice, saw once to make sure it’s the right angle for the correct side. Use an angle gage on the hull to verify deadrise. Copious amounts of sealant and solvent to clean and ur done.

    3D Printing for Boat Parts

We use Creo at work. I’ve heard SolidWorks is easier. Supposedly Google create is cheap & good enough.

    3D Printing for Boat Parts

I sprayed some gel coat on a 3D printed part last night. Looks really promising. I’ll post bc an update after I sand and buff.

    3D Printing for Boat Parts

I’ve been entertaining making a custom console for my next MFD since there’s no place it’ll fit in the dash. I’d like to gel coat over it to match so it looks like a planned addition. I’m wondering if there are examples of these out there that I can use for inspiration as I design this thing. I...

Printed a bracket to flush mount my Raymarine MFD. Sure beats machining.

    Yacht Insurance

I’m Team Chubb. No issues so far. Very good at accepting premiums. Hopefully I’ll never have to find out how good or bad they are at other services.

Where does one mount larger MFDs on this boat? I put a 7” Axiom directly above the steering wheel, but it was tight. The radar space is obvious, but where else? Is there a pod you can mount above the dash? I don’t really like bracket mounts, but this is what I’m left with.

    buying a documented boat

do tell more. I still payed sales tax in MI even though I bought a documented boat from WI and kept it documented. I had to still get a MI registration which triggered the sales tax.

    Sturdy Engine Synchronizer Not Synchronizing

Finally got this thing working. Had to start from idle, engage, wait 15 s or so, push the port throttle all the way forward (it moves hard when engaged), and then advance the engines with the starboard throttle. Little jumpy at times till it settles in. Probably some tach signal noise I’m...

Does anyone here have any good ideas on how to make the tachs less jumpy/noisy? I tried the pull the gauge out and turn the adjustment screw on the back between all the settings several times to clean off those contacts. Wondering if I should pull out and dismantle and clean the contacts more...

    Marine Surveyor Incompetence

I can tell you a surveyor not to use in the Winthrop area, but you’ll have to DM me. It seems like these guys have a boilerplate they use and skip details that are hard to verify, which is what buyers pay for. They’re not cheap, either. I paid $1200 plus lift plus engine scan plus compression...

Andiamo doesn’t really fit with the Amway family’s naming scheme. Usually something with Quest in it. Or related to the GR Griffons.
