Unplug the fuel line after the filter, and use a remote fuel tank.

2- 1/2 gallons of 89 octane or better fuel.

As far as I know it's the original anchor. I see a few others that appear to have to same problem. Maybe not as bad, but they're getting there.
I'm hoping I can find someone who installed a bow/anchor protector, and it fits without having to redesign it.
I have a 2005 Sea Ray 320. Can anyone recommend a good bow/anchor protector? My anchor is beginning to chip off my fiberglass. I see many nice ones out there, however, I want to make sure the one I buy fits my boat like a glove.
Get in touch with PYRO on this site. He's amazing. He made both pads; plug and play. Nice an easy. I needed only one (starboard side). But he has both if you need them. $800 each. Can't go wrong; 1 year warranty too.
True, however, you're only using it to close the hatch after winterizing, and opening it in the spring to reinstall your batteries. Utilizing it once every 6 months won't hurt anything. A lot better than trying to hook up external batteries, purchasing adapters you really don't need, etc.
