I'm not familiar with your set up but in mine the steering was very tight when I purchased the boat. I was able to lube the steering cable near the aft end and work it in by turning full both ways. Second application and it has been great for two years now.

Ran into unmarked nets near Charlevoix years ago. Running downriggers. An elderly couple about 100 yards away hit them too. They had to cut the cables/lines. I forced mine up after quite a bit of effort. Hacked and gashed every bit of that net I could. And I don't feel bad about it

I paid $4500 for mine in Oct 2009. Good shape but no extras with it. Bunk trailer with surge brakes. I have since seen them listed between $7 and 8.5k.

I never have but it's always covered by the camper top or storage cover if I'm not on board. Anything you could think of to cover the cabin door should keep water in the step area that has a drain. Make sure the drain is not plugged?

Steven, FWIW... I have the same setup. I found basic plumbing parts at Home Depot to fit the ends to disconnect the pump out and vent hoses. Screwed caps on the hose ends and on the potti itself so I can remove when I'm at a campground/slip w/o pump out and use the campground facilities to empty...
