I replaced one as well on a Norcold. I agree didn't help with the buildup. This was several years ago. Next spring she gets a new Frig. Mine just popped in like Carters did. Easy removal and install.

I kind of figured that but had to ask. Well an upgrade to a new frig can't be a bad investment.
