Thank you! We will give that a try. I assume we have to lay the unit on it’s back to access the impeller? Do you know the best way to remove the trim without damaging it?
Hi Tom! The Dockmate is installed and we LOVE IT! Total game changer, the wind and current at our marina can be tricky at times. Less stress docking for sure :)
Tried our washer/dryer for the first time… unit will not drain. Does anyone know how to safely remove the bottom trim so I can access the manual drain? Looks like we have to remove the unit to replace the drain pump as well. Ughhhhhh.
Is it listed by Keenan Marina? If so, we wanted to look at it last fall but the seller was not interested because they had not found their ideal replacement boat. I was told the boat was pristine & kept at a private dock behind the owners house.

We purchased a 2008 48 Sundancer last fall and are considering installing a Dockmate (https://www.dockmate.us/). Thoughts?
*so excited to get her launched! Hopefully next week! #immeasurablyMORE
Super excited! Survey on our next boat happens on Tuesday! If all goes well, she will ship the week of September 6th. Looking for thoughts / experiences regarding shipping … with or without shrink wrap?
We are focused on a 48 for now! Found a freshwater beauty and going to look at it next Thursday! Captain Rusty knows the owner - says he is meticulous. I love that word!!! Praying this one works out. We have someone looking at our 340 the day before we leave.
She was just not well taken care of. I was surprised about the how little sun / salt damage. When I told my husband we could clean her up and fix all the imperfections and get her to a 7, his response was, “since when do you settle for a 7!” He was so right!
Bigger concern was bottom needed...
Thanks Todd! Great advice. Pier 1000 Marine has done all the service for our last 2 boats and treated us well! I will confirm if certified Cummins mechanic.
I did get the engine numbers today & sent to Cummins to get any history prior to making the trip later this week. I also confirmed...
The boat name is Tan Lines. We are working with Bobby Giancola from Denison Yacht Sales. Survey is being done by Leiloni from Coast to Coast Marine Surveyors & diesel mechanical inspection & oil samples by a guy named Mike (can’t find his last name). We are going in eyes wide open for sure. I...
