Mysterious Water Leak inside Swim Platform

That's a great point. Yes, I do have the transom locker and dock connection at the stern. I didn't think to check this area, but it makes sense. I'll let you know what I find!

Mysterious Water Leak inside Swim Platform

Thanks for the pics. I'm gonna check out the rub railing and hull fitting once again. But as I recall, there was no gap that I could see. Certainly nothing like what you show in your pictures.

Mysterious Water Leak inside Swim Platform

I removed and resealed the rubrails from back of the swim platform around to about two feet on each side. I even sealed the screw heads. So I'm not sure that much water could have come through the joint. If I come off of plane too quickly, my wake spills over the swim platform and leaks...

Mysterious Water Leak inside Swim Platform

I have been experiencing a mysterious water leak on the inside of my integrated swim platform. I read in this forum to check the rubrail. I did so and resealed/caulked it. I also added engine hatch sealing to give it a tighter fit. But it seems that sea water is still making it's way inside...

Does anyone know where the propulsion control module (PCM-09/ECM) is located on a 2013 330DA?

I have a 2013 330DA with twin Bravos and I'm also getting the same engine misfire alarms. My...

I have a 2013 330DA with twin Bravos and I'm also getting the same engine misfire alarms. My mechanic relaced the distributor, plugs and ignition coil, but no luck. Still getting the alarm. MarineMax is the only service provider I know that may be able to properly pinpoint the root cause, and...

Thanks. I also plan to take a freshwater hose and spray the transom area and swim platform to see if I can find the source of the leak.

    Official 330 Sundancer Thread

Have any 330DA owners had any issues with water flooding into the engine room after coming off of plane? I find that if I come off plane too quickly, my wake floods over the swim platform and goes into the engine room. The bilge pump automatically turns on and pumps out a ton of water. I...

    Engine Misfire Error Code/Alarm

All, I received this error/alarm this weekend. The engine went into automatic protection mode at this point. The engine runs smoothly and sounds fine to me, but I'm not a trained mechanic. Is this an ignition coil issue? If so, wouldn't the engine sound rough?

    Official 330 Sundancer Thread

I have a very similar situation with my 2013 330DA. If I come off of plain too quickly, my boat wake spills over the swim platform and floods into the engine compartment. The engine hatch sealing strip foam looks very flat and needs to be replaced. I'm hoping the sealing material you found is...

Great Lakes Boat Top - September 2021 Update

I've been talking with Ashley @ GLBTs for a couple of aft canvas curtains since way back in May. I was originally told no new orders until Sept. Then 2-3 weeks ago I got another email saying that GLBT is now fulfilling orders for OEM manufacturers only. Private, Retail and Dealer orders have...

Muff-Flushing Bravo 3 Stern Drives with Front Gearcase Intake

I ended up installing the quick-connect flush kits, and it works great. Since I have to get into the engine hatch to close the seacocks, it made sense to install the flush connector after the strainer. I also built a short salt-away connector hose to fit the connection to make it easier to...

Tampa, St Pete, Clearwater boating spots

Ive been to Caledesi Island and really enjoyed it. But I was actually thinking more of a secluded island where we could drop anchor and enjoy some quiet and unspoiled Florida scenery. Of course I’d be running the generator. After all, we still need creature comforts! ;)

Tampa, St Pete, Clearwater boating spots

Are there any good remote, uninhabited, but naturally scenic destinations close to St Pete? I’m thinking somewhere good for overnight boat camping like Ten Thousand Islands, but much closer to St Pete.

Muff-Flushing Bravo 3 Stern Drives with Front Gearcase Intake

I'm researching this model for thru-hull plungers. It reportedly clips onto the grate of the thru hull strainer. But I assume you have to have a strainer like the picture you posted so that you can clip onto it. The reviews are generally positive if the clip can fit through the strainer slot...

Muff-Flushing Bravo 3 Stern Drives with Front Gearcase Intake

Yep. My last boat had a twin Alpha Stern drives with no thru hull intakes. So moving to B3s is a huge learning curve for me.

Muff-Flushing Bravo 3 Stern Drives with Front Gearcase Intake

Can you recommend one that works with a typical Sea Ray brass strainer?

Muff-Flushing Bravo 3 Stern Drives with Front Gearcase Intake

Quick question, I’m curious to know how the engine’s water pump doesn’t cause a back-flow situation to the T-fitting hose line during normal boating operations. I understand that closing the ball valve shuts off flow from the strainer when flushing. But when running the boat with the ball...
