I understand! The one we are replacing is in the transom. It was easy- just a couple of screws and unplug the connectors. I know at the helm it is a little different. Let me know once you are able to get in there and work on it.
Sounds like it will be a job getting to it. I think we need the bracket that is on the back of the unit if you can salvage it! I will wait to hear from you.

I am searching for a remote control for the back of our 2004 SeaRay Sundancer . It is a Clarion M301RC. I am not having much luck searching the internet!
We had the service department look at it again. It appears something was not done correctly when they installed the transmission. I haven’t seen the diagnosis document yet. They also replaced the water flow sensor. We will be able to run it this weekend and see how it goes!

They ran it yesterday. It most likely is the water pressure sensor. This has not been confirmed. We were concerned that is could be something not connected back properly after having the transmission replaced. They did forget to connect the ground cable last week.

We just had the port engine transmission replaced. We were finally able to sea trial and now receive the port engine alarm. The service department at our marina said it has nothing to do with the replacement of the transmission and we will start a new service...
