My '92 44 Dancer had the same setup, hooked to 3208's. More common than you realize.
If memory serves me correctly, 80w/90 went in those. Here are a couple of old pdf's for you, if this helps.
Unless you are completely uncomfortable with basic tools, pull it out and rebuild it yourself. You should be able to buy a kit. Any marine repair place can do this work.
It's always worth the money for more HP.....:D
Seriously, I bought the 20HP in 2015, and not a hiccup. And we ran it, not just putting around. Great outboard.
Enjoy all the memories! Difficult docking/weather/near disasters memories seem to have more sticking power than the perfect sunny day with flat water! It is all about the experience. Part of why I enjoy boating is the challenges it presents at times!
We pulled the trigger and sold our Neptunus, prices are way up. Had multiple offers within a week or two. I am hearing the same thing, that the market looks to stay strong this summer for sure, possibly into 2022. But, it will swing back, it always does.
