This lays it out in a nice table format. Few differences- cranking amps, ah and rc. If a 27 will fit u're needs I say get that one. Although if they are close in price I'd get the bigger 31. And if I ever do it again I'd spring for the Lifeline 27's. How...
I had to pull mine... as I recall I had to pull the batteries and the trim pump and the board the h2o pump was on ...but no engine parts to get it out and yes.... the rear bolts were A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE... patience and good luck.... as an aside when I reinstalled i placed the box on thin...
I'll probably get stoned to death for this but......
a $2.00 plastic waste(black pvc) in I think three inch from Home Depot is on my WASTE/ Pump-out cap.. I lost mine at the dock and was livid that it was $30. and you couldn't get just the cap.... my rage has subsided so maybe I'll get a new...
+1 I had this exact thing on mine and thought it was paint fading. Acid will take it off I use a blue kitchen sponge and zep(c.l.r.) from home depot.
What is your aluminum safe stuff ?? I will look into getting some!
I for one think it's a fantastic idea!!:smt038:smt038:smt038
I'm filing it away in case I ever need to do an on-h2o change! Even in a pinch.. plugging the muff where the hose would be if a hose is not available on the water would be easier than a plug in the large engine room hose!
Well done...
I wanted to add my endorsement for.... Costco Tires! I don't recall the specific brand that they get but....
I called and they ordered me 7(1 spare) last year.
ST 225/75 R 15 L.R. D run @ 65 psi
I believe they were about $100 a piece... far lower than any other ST tire I researched.
It's...
I tried once to get some channels.... we got one spanish station.... fuzzy... I thought you needed the dig converter and even though its $20 I wasn't going to spend any more $ on that setup. We just bring a couple movies for nighttime. Since I don't get out as much as I'd like the last thing I...
I am kicking around the idea of removing the GLOMEX antenna... First let me say that I will NEVER need it, and it's ugly(imo).
The hole that it leaves what should I do...
Fiberglass it in?
4200 in some sort of plug?
I am leaning toward plugging it so on resale I "could" put it back...
Sorry for the delay here are some pics and measurements from under the boat and the trailer.....
17" from the outer edge(chine?) to the first bunk. 12.5" to the first strake.
19.5" from the end of first bunk to the keel bunk left
7.5" between keel bunks
This is just a...
I don't think there is a dedicated fuse but check the EIM fuses, and test light to make sure you have power at the pump..(sorry.. kinda arbitrary) and Presentation had BOTH trim pumps go out simultaneously for no reason recently. But sounds like a power/fuse problem... no switches work? trailer...
I don't know if there are "specs" per se... There are three spots to avoid if your SD is so equipped, The a/c intake left, generator intake right and keel transducer(although nobody puts bunks on the keel) but needs to be wide enough..
+100..
Someone start a new thread for KNOWN substitution parts!
I know Presentation has one for the serpentine belts and there is one for the spark plugs lost in the Threads!
This is a small hijack but as I was reading this I wondered if trailer boats(like mine) should retract the tabs to store? Like putting the drives down to save the bellows once you're parked...
Anyone think it matters on a trailer?
I haven't experienced firsthand but have read about it here. Yes, they sometimes leak/ go bad. Quick fix is to work the valve relief up and down to re-seat whatever seal is inside and that will (probably) fix the problem temporarily. But long term you will need a new one... and you won't be able...
